Vanilla ice cream recipe
Ingredients Required:
6 Large Egg yolks
100g sugar
400ml milk
100ml thick cream
2 vanilla beans
Making the Ice Cream:
- slit the vanilla beans down the middle, in the lengthwise (to get to take out the small black “caviar” type seeds inside that gives taste)
- boil the milk with the vanilla
- Get a bowl, beat the egg yolks and sugar until the mixture whitens
- pour the milk into the bowl, mix well
- pour the mixture into the saucepan and heat, stirring until the mixture forms a film on the back of a wooden spoon
- stir the cream and let cool
- Let it cool and refrigerate
